"In the future, every family will have a separate apartment or house!" President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov assured the Turkmen people in his speech at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.
The issues of social security of citizens have become central in the development programs of the state approved by the Turkmen leader for the current 2022 and the next thirty years.
"The state will make every effort to make quality housing affordable for our population. In addition, the possibilities of the digital system will be increasingly implemented. In the spirit of the times, we will continue building smart homes and smart cities for our people! And we will provide our citizens with the first such houses erected in the new Administrative Center of the Akhal Region, in Ashgabat City, for the first time," Berdimuhamedov said.
At the same time, the main task of all managers is to improve the quality of life, increase household incomes, create new jobs and attract investment already for the current year.
As noted, in comparison with 2007, the average wage increased by 366.3 percent in Turkmenistan in 2021. And the allocated funds for the payment of pensions and state benefits for the period of 2008-2021 increased by 1054 percent.
To recap, since January 1 of this year, the implementation of specific measures to increase the material well-being of mothers with many children has begun.
According to the Head of State, the new social model, the formation of which is planned for the foreseeable future, will ensure high standards of life for Turkmen citizens.
