China will send 5 million doses of its own-made coronavirus vaccine to Turkmenistan. Today, the leaders of the two states discussed the supply of drugs among other issues during the talks in Beijing, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reported.
"The decision of the Chinese party to provide Turkmenistan with 5 million doses of coronavirus vaccine was another symbol of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and China," the message reads.
Last month, at the Central Asia–China Summit, the Chinese leader proposed to his Central Asian colleagues to deliver 50 million doses of coronavirus vaccine in 2022 as well as transfer the technology for the production of these drugs.
