“Zenit” and “Bayer” have reached an agreement on the transfer of striker Serdar Azmoun to the German club in the winter transfer window. This was reported on the official website of the football club "Zenit".
Serdar Azmoun has been playing for “Zenit” St. Petersburg since 2019. As part of the team, the striker became the champion of Russia three times, won the Super Cup twice and the Russian Cup once. In total, the Iranian of Turkmen origin played 104 matches for the club, scoring 62 goals and giving 17 assists. Azmoun became one of the most productive strikers in the history of the club. The football player has the title of the best scorer of the 2019/20 season and the best football player of the 2020/21 season according to the Russian Football Union.

Azmoun spent his entire professional career in Russia. In addition to “Zenit”, he played in the RPL for “Rubin” and “Rostov”.
As a reminder, “Bayer” announced the signing of a contract with Serdar Azmoun on January 22.
The transfer fee of the player, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at 25 million euros.
