The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has compiled a list of the best clubs in Asia, reports Sport.kg.
The first two lines in the ranking are occupied by clubs from the Republic of Korea – “Ulsan Hyundai” and “Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors”, and the Japanese “Kawasaki Frontale” closes the top three.
Also, “Persepolis” (Iran) and “Daegu” (Republic of Korea) are in the top of five. In sixth place is “Al Hilal” (Saudi Arabia), in seventh is “Pohang Steelers” (Republic of Korea).
On the eighth - the Japanese "Nagoya", on the ninth - "Al Nassr" (Saudi Arabia), on the tenth - "Esteghlal" (Iran).
The rating is based on the results of the performance of the teams in the period from January 1, 2021 to September 31, 2021.
Teams from Turkmenistan are not represented in the top 10 Asian club rankings for 2021 by IFFHS.
