Today, President of Turkmenistan instructed to focus on further improving the social and living conditions of the population of Ashgabat, to improve the quality and radically modernize public services at a meeting following a working trip to Ashgabat City.
To improve the provision of housing for the population, the head of state instructed to expand the scale of construction of "magnificent buildings that enhance the beauty of the capital", as well as utility facilities. The Head of State ordered to update the appearance of existing residential buildings taking into account modern requirements and to equip the territories adjacent to them.
"Our goal is to make a city unique in its architectural features," the Turkmen leader said.
In continuation of the topic, the President of the country noted that it is necessary to expand the existing green areas within the capital and to do forest transplanting taking into account soil and climatic conditions.
During the meeting, the Head of state reviewed the drawings of laying new systems to reduce the groundwater level, new residential buildings and other facilities in the Parakhat (Peace)-7 micro-district, as well as drawings of stops, lights and road signs.
"... when repairing streets and buildings, the most modern experience and the latest achievements of science should be used. And for this, it is necessary to introduce the latest technologies and digital systems," Berdimuhamedov stressed, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
