Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who oversees the financial and economic block in the Government of Turkmenistan, will soon pay a working visit to the country's velayats to get acquainted with the prices of goods in markets and shops before the New Year. The corresponding instruction was given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at today's meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, reported the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television.
The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to study what problems there are in rural areas, prepare proposals on their solution and submit a report on the implementation of this instruction at the next meeting of the Government.
During the trip, Serdar Berdimuhamedov will also familiarize himself with the implementation of the National Rural Program, State Programs to increase the production of import-substituting goods and increase the volume of export-oriented products.
Earlier, at meetings of the Government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demanded that the work to improve the provision of the domestic market with food be kept under constant control and not to allow an increase in prices for goods and foodstuffs.
