In 2022, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Dushanbe will be exempted from paying taxes. This decision was made by the Government of Tajikistan in connection with the fact that the Turkmen embassy is building a school for 540 places in the village of Ergasha Sultonova in the Dustinsky district of the Hatlon region of the country, the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.

Thus, the customer and the main contractor for the construction of the school will receive exemption from the payment of value added tax, as well as income tax, according to the 2022 Budget Law.

The construction of this social facility will not be taxed. Goods and products imported in accordance with the list for construction approved by the government of Tajikistan will also be exempt from VAT and customs duties.

In the rural community named after Ergesh Sultanov, ethnic Turkmens live, the number of which is 14 thousand. The new educational institution will be named after Magtymguly Fraghi.

We remind you that the tender for the construction and equipment of a modern school for 540 places in the village of Ergash Sultonov was announced by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan in June 2018. All expenses for the construction and equipment of the school were borne by the Government of Turkmenistan. After the school is ready for operation, it will be handed over to the Tajik authorities free of charge.
