The construction of a new modern passenger car terminal on Magtymguly Avenue in Dashoguz continues, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.
It is being built close to the central city market and will form a single architectural ensemble with white marble buildings located across the road.
According to the project, the car terminal will occupy an area of 3 hectares. From here, flights will depart to various parts of the region and country.
Various technical premises have already been built, including a transformer, a car wash, a water tank and others. The foundation of the main building has been prepared for the installation of metal structures.
The two-story building will house a waiting room, ticket offices for selling tickets for all types of passenger transport, information service premises, and storage rooms.
The car terminal is being built in the shape of an eight-pointed star, and it is expected that there will be convenient exits to buses and indoor taxi stands.
The construction is carried out by specialists of the Muhammet-Balkan Economic Society, the source said.
