Today, a new Law of Turkmenistan "On Postal Services" has been published, which establishes the legal basis for activities in the field of postal services, and also defines the rights and obligations of operators and users of postal services.
The Law prescribes, among other things, such provisions as state regulation and control in the field of postal services; provision of postal services; features of user service, their rights and obligations; ensuring postal security.
The law comes into force on the day of its official publication.
