The Austrian company Europe Consult GmbH proposed to open a store selling Turkmen carpets and rugs in Vienna during a bilateral meeting of the company's chief director Peter Gindl with leaders and representatives of a number of government agencies and business circles of Turkmenistan.
The meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan as part of a visit to Ashgabat this week by the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria Michael Linhart, Business Turkmenistan reported.
The businessman expressed confidence that in the future, the export of Turkmen carpets to Austria will become a promising area of cooperation between the countries and this product will be "to the taste" of European consumers.
Also, Peter Gindle said that earlier the company helped to export to Austria greenhouse products grown by entrepreneurs of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (TUIE).
“Our main goal is to strengthen cooperation between European and Turkmen businessmen. We have more than 20 years of experience in establishing and expanding bilateral relations in various areas of the economy. For Turkmen entrepreneurs, entering the European market, where there is very high competition, is a great achievement. Ecologically clean and tasty products grown in this sunny region are in great demand in this region”, said the director of Europe Consult GmbH.
