Ashgabat hosts an exhibition in honor of the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan

Today, on September 21, the Exhibition of Achievements of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of our country, opened at the Expocentre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

At the opening ceremony, the Address of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the exhibition was read.

“During the glorious 30 years of great independence, high milestones have been achieved in the innovative transformation of the country's national economic complex, diversification of industry, building up the potential of the national economy, progressively improving the standard of living of our people, which are priority areas of state policy.

Today, domestic enterprises built and widely commissioned thanks to the successful implementation of the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025” and meeting the most modern requirements, as well as the high-quality, environmentally friendly and competitive products they produce, are expanding their positions by international markets, which has a positive effect on further strengthening the national economy and improving the standard of living of our citizens,” is said in the Address.

This large-scale event is attended by a number of ministries of departments, such as the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the State Concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmenkhimiya” and “Turkmenneft”, the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan and many others.

The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the achievements of Turkmenistan in all spheres of the economy.

At the exhibition, both government organizations and departments, as well as private companies and enterprises are widely represented. Among the representatives of the private sector of the country's economy are Aýdyň gijeler ES, Mähirli zenan fashion house, individual enterprises Miweli ülke, Muhammed-Balkan, Röwşen, Derýaplastik, furniture factories Aýbölek and Çigildem, in total almost 100 participants.

During the exhibition, it is planned to conduct a series of business negotiations and presentations of new products of enterprises - members of the UIET. The Exhibition of Achievements of Turkmenistan will end its work on September 22.
