From June 7 to 13, 2021, Kazan will host the XV International Theater Festival of Turkic Peoples “Nauruz”, in the program of which the National Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Alp Arslan will also take part.
As we were informed in the press service of the Festival, it is expected that on June 12 the theater staff will perform in front of the spectators of the capital of Tatarstan with the play “Mahtumkuli”.
The founders of the Festival are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation and the Union of Theater Workers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The organizer of the festival is the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamala.
The performances of “Nauruz” will be staged at 7 theaters in Kazan.
