A ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest “Woman of the Year” took place in Ashgabat. The celebration of the best women, full of life optimism, energy, able to combine work and professional achievements with amazing femininity and charm, took place in the Center of Public Associations.
Winners of the provincial and city tours of Ashgabat arrived at the solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the “Woman of the Year” contest.
Winners were selected in seven nominations: “For high professionalism”, “For the preservation of the art of national artistic handicrafts”, “For the dissemination of spiritual values and national cultural heritage”, “For the achievement of the upbringing of children”, “For the protection of children and work legitimacy in society”, “For contribution to rural development”, “For success in entrepreneurship”.
This year, 42 contestants participated in the final stage of the competition. Each presented a portfolio about herself and her achievements.
In accordance with the results of the competition, the winners were: Gulayim Myhmanova from Lebap velayat; Mahrijemal Bereketova from Ashgabat, Merjen Manadova from Dashoguz velayat, Aysoltan Merdangeldiyev from Ahal velayat, Nabat Nurgeldiyeva from the capital, Merjen Gurbantaganova from the Balkan velayat; Ayhan Rejepova from Mary velayat.
All finalists of the competition were awarded with Certificates and valuable prizes from the organizers of the competition.
