In March this year, Turkmenistan will launch a training program for consultants who, after completing the training course, will be able to carry out further consulting services on the development and implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems. This program will be supported by USAID and business development projects Environment (FGI) and Central Asia's Safe Migration (SMICA).

The purpose of the program is to more actively and effectively implement international standards for occupational health and safety at production, as well as environmental protection by domestic production enterprises.

The availability of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 documents is required to conclude transactions for the export of the products demanded.

The training course will be conducted by an internationally qualified trainer in Russian in online format. Training is provided free of charge.

At the end of the course, the consultant, or consulting firm he/she represents, will have the opportunity to continue his/her professional development as an auditor under ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Applications for participation in the project are accepted by citizens of Turkmenistan who already have at least 6 months of experience in implementing ISO standards, such as ISO 9001 and are familiar with the subject of ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 standards.

The selection will be conducted by a special commission on a competitive basis on the completed questionnaires with possible further interviews.
