Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to attend an online summit of leaders of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on March 4, 2021. This is stated in Erdogan’s letter published in today's issue of the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
The message states that the summit will be held on “Economic cooperation in the period after COVID-19”.
“This will, first of all, allow us to discuss the events of 2020 in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic and the forthcoming work on economic recovery in the post-pandemic period,” he said.
Erdogan also said that the chairmanship in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development will be extended to friendly and fraternal Turkmenistan during the summit.
At the end of his message, Recep Tayyip Erdogan wished President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov good health and happiness, and the friendly and fraternal people of Turkmenistan - further welbeing and prosperity.
