“Tashkent” Park to appear in Turkmenistan's capital

A park called “Tashkent” will be built in Ashgabat. This was announced today by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is taking place in the Presidential Palace of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, the State news agency of our country reports.

The official material of the agency notes that the opening of the streets and alleys named after the Turkmen poet, philosopher and classicist of literature Mahtumkuli Fragi, a bas-relief with his image, serve as a bright symbol of friendship, unity and cultural closeness of peoples.

In turn, there is Alisher Navoi Street in Ashgabat, the monument of which is also installed on the capital's Alley of Inspiration.

Noting the importance of fruitful cooperation in the humanitarian field, which is based on the historically established commonality of cultural and spiritual traditions, over the centuries uniting the peoples of the two countries, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov said that in his visit to Dashoguz,

“They work together to make a great contribution to the prosperity of our country,” Berdimuhamedov said.

One of the examples is the awarding of the best district in Turkmenistan in 2020, which was announced by the results of a special competition in the district named after S.A. Niyazov of Dashoguz province.

The President of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan agreed to continue the successful practice of holding regular meetings of creative and scientific figures, Days of Culture, Exhibitions, concerts, festivals to promote the preservation of the common heritage and strengthening the bond of friendship and friendship. In this context, the importance of joint celebrations in honor of outstanding personalities who have left their mark on world history and culture, including the great statesman, poet and writer of Uzbekistan Zahiridabin Muhammad, was underlined in this context.
