Today at the International Scientific and Training Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the next, IX Turkmen-German Health Forum, held this year in the format of an online teleconference, began its work.
The forum, initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, makes it possible to deepen the successfully developing partnership between Turkmen and German colleagues, develop joint projects to modernize the health care system of Turkmenistan, introduce advanced technologies and equipment, train scientific personnel and highly qualified specialists.
The current teleconference brought together well-known scientists-professors of the Grosshaarden Clinic of Munich University and heads and representatives of domestic government agencies and scientific and clinical centers, the Turkmen State Medical University, as well as departments of the velayat and capital structures of the health system.
Special attention during the current online meeting was paid to issues of urology and gynecology, including pediatric ones. Reports were presented covering the state of the above-mentioned areas of medicine in Turkmenistan and Germany, preventive activities, modern solutions and features of personnel training.
In addition, topics such as urological screening measures from birth to old age; pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of recurrent kidney disease; malignant neoplasms in men (carcinoma): diagnosis and treatment, etc. German scientists shared their experience and talked about the results of using new methods of treatment.
On the example of the best practice of the International Center for Internal Medicine of the Directorate of International Medical Centers, whose domestic specialists work closely with German colleagues, the issues of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of urolithiasis were considered.
The use of slide presentations, video materials made it possible to visually evaluate a number of innovations introduced in clinics in Turkmenistan and Germany, which help to save the lives of patients and restore their health.
On the second day of the forum, issues of preventive medicine in high-risk pregnancies, infectious diseases during pregnancy, measures for the prevention of gynecological diseases and others will be considered, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
