The International University for the Humanities and Development recently held for the first time on a national scale an interuniversity online Olympiad for students studying economics and philosophy.
Such interuniversity intellectual competitions help to unleash the intellectual potential of youth, to activate the functioning of the digital platform in the framework of remote events. For transparency, the current rating of each of the participants was broadcast online.
To become a participant in the Olympiad, it was necessary to register in advance on the website (iuhd.edu.tm). A total of 160 students registered in philosophy and 350 in economics.
According to the results of the Olympiad in Economics, 33 students took first places. Almost half of them, 15 people, are representatives of the university. Among the winners of the first places are also students of the Turkmen
State Power Engineering Institute and the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, who won four of the highest awards.
Three victories of the highest dignity were won by students of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance and the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Two awards of the highest degree - for students of the Turkmen State University named after Mahtumkuli and the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.
In terms of philosophy, the students of MUGNIR again became leaders, having won seven first places. Less by one award of the highest dignity in the “piggy bank” of TSU named after Makhtumkuli. And the students of the
International University of Oil and Gas and the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seidi have one first place, the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” reports.
