Famous zoologist and TV presenter of popular program “In the animal world” Nikolay Nilolaevich Drozdov held an exciting lecture for young naturalists on the you-tube channel of the program “Everything is like animals”.
During the lecture, Nikolay Nilolaevich answered the questions of youngsters on desert animals.
Drozdov told about the most toxic snake of Central Asia known as saw-scaled viper. Talking about saw-scaled vipers, mainly inhabiting Turkmenistan, zoologist told about the picture on the head of saw-scaled viper and how it is called in Turkmen language.
- In Turkmen it is called “keseyoren” which means sidewall walking, - explained the zoologist.
Nearly 80 minute young naturalist asked the zoologist about the animals of the deserts of Africa and Asia.
In Soviet times, Nikolai Drozdov came to Turkmenistan several times, including to prepare materials for the program “In the animal world”.
