Turkmenistan will sign several documents within the CIS.
As reports information program “Vatan” on Turkmen television, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed corresponding Instructions in accordance with the Law “On international agreements of Turkmenistan” and gave permission to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov to sign on the behalf of Turkmen side the following Decisions of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States:
- On the Plan of multi-level consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2021;
- On the draft of Joint Statement of the Heads of the CIS member states on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the UN;
- On the draft of Joint Statement of the Heads of the CIS Member States on Cooperation in the Field of International Information Security;
- On declaring 2022 the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage, 2023 - the Year of the Russian language as a language of interethnic communication.
