Turkmen students participate in the Forum of finalists of the CIS young international student’s competition

Turkmen students are taking part in the Forum of finalists of the A.A. Gromyko competition for young international students of the CIS, which started today, BELTA reports.

The forum, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war and the creation of the United Nations, brought together more than fifty young international experts from eleven Commonwealth countries, representing universities, institutes of national academies of Sciences and public authorities.

The competition accepted 285 scientific articles from 323 young scientists and specialists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine, Georgia and Abkhazia. Research works were devoted to the problems of preserving the historical memory of the great Patriotic war, the role of the UN in the modern world, integration processes and diplomacy in the Eurasian space, the Union state, the EAEU and the CIS.

50 participants reached the final of the competition.

The online forum will last three days and end on November 21.

The A.A. Gromyko competition for young international students of the CIS has been held annually since 2018. It is organized by the A.A. Gromyko Association for foreign policy studies, the Academy of management under the President of Belarus, and The Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The project is implemented using a grant provided by the Interstate Fund for humanitarian cooperation of the CIS.
