The public organization "Keyik Okara" with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the British Embassy is opening a "hotline" on reproductive health issues in Ashgabat.

On condition of anonymity, users of the hotline will be able to take advantage of consultation services on reproductive rights, existing reproductive health services, and General health advice in the context of a global pandemic.

Within the framework of a short-term project, the main areas of necessary support for women and girls will be identified based on calls received to the hotline.

UNFPA, together with the Embassy of the United Kingdom, who have signed a Memorandum of understanding, will work together to improve the equipment base for the project organization.

The public organization "Keyik Okara" has been operating since 1998. Its activities are aimed at conducting educational events and providing information and consulting services on social, economic, and legal issues to all categories of families in need. In addition, the organization works to develop social competence skills and leadership potential among young people, increase knowledge and awareness of young people on entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, and involve young people in the implementation of preventive measures aimed at preventing human trafficking.
