In Turkmenistan started sowing campaign of winter crops

Mass sowing of winter wheat started in Turkmenistan on September 2. The grain field will occupy 690 thousand hectares of land, from which in 2021 farmers will collect 1 million 400 thousand tons of grain, including in the Akhal region – 400, Mary region – 345, Lebap region – 310, Dashoguz region – 265 and in the Balkan region – 80 thousand tons. This is reported by the state news Agency "Turkmenistan-Golden age".

Following the instructions of the Turkmen leader, the farmers prepared with special care for the responsible campaign, plowing and fertilizing the farmland intended for the next year's wheat crop in a timely manner.

High-quality seeds of such high-yield varieties of food wheat as "Sahrai", "Juvan", "Bitarap", "Yoloten-1", "Yoloten-3", "Turkmenbashi-1", "Gyzylshaglavuk-25", "Miras", "Akbash", "Shanly", "Hasylly", and "Vatan" were prepared in advance for sowing.

— In the whole country, the current campaign will involve 2 thousand 583 arable and 7 thousand 605 row tractors of the John Deere, CLAAS, Case, “Belarus-80H” and “Belarus-82.1” brands, as well as 1723 seeders, equipment and other technical means to increase the productivity of daihan, — the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection reported.

A good help for farmers will be the new equipment received this year, which will help them carry out the sowing campaign in the optimal time, which is the key to getting a good harvest. In particular, there are 155 John Deere tractors equipped with a telematics digital electronic control system.

On the occasion of the beginning of winter sowing in the regions of the country, in particular in the daikhan associations "Gyavers" etrap Ak bugday Akhal velayat, "Turkmenistan" etrap Bereket Balkan velayat, "Turkmenistan" Gubadag etrap Dashoguz velayat, "Vatan" Charjev etrap Lebap velayat, "Turkmenistan" Vekilbazar etrap Mary velayat seminars were held with the participation of representatives of velayat and etrap hyakimliks, heads of daikhan associations, agronomists, machine operators, tenants-grain Growers, elders.

The participants discussed the issues of the organized sowing campaign, the use of modern agricultural techniques and best practices in the cultivation of grain. These works will help farmers to sow strategically important crops in the most favorable time and with high quality.
In addition, exhibitions of products produced by the country's agricultural enterprises and the latest equipment available in the agricultural sector were also organized. Concerts were held on the occasion of the start of the sowing campaign
