Today, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Turkmenistan (with residence in the city of Nursultan) Gerhard Sailler, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country, had a telephone conversation. This is reported by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Rashid Meredov thanked the Ambassador for his effective work and important contribution to the strengthening of Turkmen-Austrian cooperation.
Turkmenistan and Austria actively cooperate in such areas as inter-parliamentary partnership, trade and economic relations, and cultural and humanitarian ties. The Austrian-Turkmen society is functioning effectively, and academic contacts between universities of the two countries are being established.
Mr. Sailer expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for its comprehensive support in expanding bilateral cooperation.
