Tasks related to the implementation of programs of socio-economic development of the country, as well as issues of seasonal agricultural work, preparation for commissioning of various facilities were discussed at a workshop held today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov via digital video link.
First, Turkmen leader has called Hyakim of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdyliyev, who supervises the capital.
The head of the capital’s administration has reported on the situation in Ashgabat, measures for its development. The Hyakim has also reported on the preparation to the beginning of new educational year and construction of facilities including those, which are planned to be opened this year.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the State focused the attention of the official on preparation to coming winter season, bringing of heating systems of schools, kindergartens, residential buildings to proper operational condition as well as at solution of provision of uninterrupted work of municipal services, compliance with fire safety regulations in the city, having given specific instructions on this account.
The Vice-premier and Hyakim have also been instructed to hold quality and timely completion of construction of new facilities in Ashgabat, which opening is panned on occasion of different celebration events, under strict control.
After, the President of Turkmenistan has called Head of Ahal Region Ya. Gurbanov and curator of the region, Vice-premier Ch. Gylyjov. The head of the regional administration has reported on works and efforts for improvement of efficiency of agricultural complex, developed measures for organized sowing of winter crops and cotton harvesting.
In addition, the head of regional administration has reported on measures for improvement of social and living infrastructure of the region, acceleration of construction rates of new facilities, preparation to new educational year.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has highlighted importance of integrated preparation to sowing of winter crops and addressed the head of regional administration with specific instructions. The President has also paid attention to organization of cotton harvesting and gave instructions for timely conduct of sowing of potato, vegetables and other agricultural crops and proper care of the plantations.
Having focused on coming remarkable events, especially on celebration to the 25th anniversary of neutrality, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted importance of compliance with high quality and timeline of opening of various facilities.
Continuing the session, the Head of the State has called Head of administration of Balkan Region T. Atahalliyev and Vice-premier B. Ovezov, which is in charge of this region.
The head of administration has reported on current seasonal agricultural works, measures for implementation of National rural programme. It was also reported on the situation at construction sites of facilities, which opening is timed to the 25th anniversary of neutrality of the country and preparation to new educational year.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the State highlighted the necessity of optimum use of existing capabilities for successful cotton harvest campaign and sowing of winter crops.
Speaking of importance of implementation of the potential of agricultural complex of the region by rational use of lands and increment of volumes of agricultural production, the Head of the State requested the head of regional administration to hold agricultural works for care of vegetable and other crops under control.
Certain assignments have been given for timely and qualitative commissioning of facilities, which opening is planned for the anniversary of the country.
Further, Head of administration of Dashoguz Region N. Nazarmyradov reported on seasonal works expanded in the region, measures for improvement of efficiency of agricultural complex, preparation to cotton harvest and winter crops sowing, modernization of social and economic infrastructure.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushikov, who supervises the northern region, has been called at the same time. It was also informed that preparation to organized start of new educational year is carried out in the northern region, the same like all over the country.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the State focused on the main directions of preparation to coming responsible campaigns in agricultural complex, having highlighted the importance of comprehensive use of agricultural equipment, coordinated activity of relative structure for timely and properly cotton harvesting and sowing of winter crops.
Turkmen leader has also instructed to provide the production of vegetable and other agricultural crops including rice, compliance with all agricultural standards during care of the plantation and for increment of production.
Addressing the Vice-premier and head of administration and noting the importance of timely completion of construction of facilities in the region, the President has ordered to increase the rates at construction sites of facilities, planned to be opened on occasion of the anniversary of neutrality of the country.
Next, Head of administration of Lebap Region Sh. Amangeldiyev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Meredov have been called to the session.
The head of the region has reported on measures for further steadfast social and economic development, situation in agricultural sector and facilities timed to be commissioned in honour of the 25th anniversary of neutral status of Turkmenistan as well as preparation to new educational year.
Summing up the report and having addressed the head of regional administration with assignments related to coming cotton harvest campaign, the President noted that provision of farmers with agricultural equipment and other resources has to be under control.
It is necessary to inspect the readiness of reception and processing facilities for the campaign, the President said, having focused on the necessity of timely payment settlements with farmers for produced cotton.
Speaking of coming winter crop sowing campaign, the Head of the State has noted that future harvest depends on organization of the campaign taking into account all factors including local soil and climate conditions.
The head of administration has received instructions for proper care of winter potato, other vegetable crops. In particular, having highlighted the subject of rice cultivation, Turkmen leader noted that strict compliance with agricultural standards is one of the conditions for high productivity of crop. The President has ordered the Vice-premier and head of administration to provide timely commissioning of facilities under construction.
After, head of Mary Region D. Annaberdiyev and Vice-Premier E. Orazgeldiyev supervising the region have been called to the session. The head of administration reported on work in the region, measures for development of social and economic infrastructure, rates of construction of facilities. It was also reported on the readiness to new educational year.
Having listened to the report, the President of Turkmenistan requested to establish coordinated work of all structural divisions of agricultural complex in order to provide high organizational level of cotton harvest and winter crop sowing campaigns.
It is necessary to use existing facilities of the region for increment of production of vegetables, especially sugar beet. In this case, strict compliance with agricultural requirements, introduction of advanced management methods are the main factors, Turkmen leader noted, having addressed the head of the region with specific assignments.
The Head of the State has also given relative assignments to the Vice-premier and head of administration on acceleration of the rates of construction of various facilities.
Continuing video conference session, the report of Minister of Agriculture and Natural Protection M. Bayramdurdiyev, who informed about seasonal agricultural works, preparation to cotton harvest and sowing of winter crops, work for development of livestock farming industry of the country, has been presented.
Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan has noted deficiencies admitted in fulfilment of objectives of further development of agriculture, especially livestock farming, in particular organization of preparation of food for animals.
Having expressed serious discontent with work of the Minister, the Head of the state demanded to approach the solution of these issues with full responsibility and to take relative measures.
Successful fulfilment of measures for provision of food abundance, provision of land for cultivation of forage crops and establishment of backup forage base, increment of livestock is important in strengthening of the potential of agricultural complex, the President said, having addressed the Minister and heads of the regions with specific assignments on this account.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers P. Agamyradov has been called to the session. The Vice-premier has reported on the readiness of educational facilities of the country to new academic year as well as on the events planned on occasion of the coming Day of Knowledge and Students.
Noting the need for an organized start of the new academic year and high-level events on the occasion of the day of knowledge and student youth, the Turkmen leader gave appropriate instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister and the hyakims of the velayats, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
