On behalf of the people and Government, as well as on his own behalf, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to President of the Republic of India Rama Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the crash of a passenger plane at the international airport in Kozhikode, Kerala, which resulted in numerous human casualties and injuries.
The head of state conveyed words of deep empathy and support to the relatives and friends of the victims in this difficult moment, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reports.
Yesterday, as a result of a hard landing of an Air India plane at Kozhikode airport, according to the Hindustan Times, 20 people were killed and more than 140 were injured.
