Today's online meeting, organized by the International organization for migration (IOM), was attended by representatives of migration and border agencies of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting was held within the framework of the regional project "Implementation of the preliminary passenger information system (API) in the Central Asian States for 2020-2021" in order to get acquainted with the innovations in the API system, as well as exchange views on the progress of its practical implementation and upcoming work plans in this direction.
The representative of IOM in Central Asia noted the positive experience of cooperation within this structure, including the implementation of long-term plans for 2020-2021, including passenger regional projects of the preliminary information system, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
