Turkmenistan and Iran have resumed railway trade suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is reported by centralasia.news, referring to the ISNA news Agency.
In particular, in his interview with ISNA, the Governor of Sarakhs (North-Eastern Iran) Mohammad Reza Rajabi Mogaddam noted that 50 cars enter Turkmenistan and Iran every day.
"On the border of Turkmenistan and Iran, thanks to the efforts of both countries, the quantitative restriction on the daily transit of freight cars on the border of Sarakhs (Turkmenistan) was lifted and disinfection tunnels were equipped," he said.
