Video talks were held today between Deputy Prime Minister and foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and OSCE high Commissioner for national minorities Lamberto Zannier.
L. Zannier highly appreciated the state policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the international initiatives put forward that fully meet the interests of global security and sustainable development.
During the online meeting, which was also held with the participation of the Minister of education and the head of the Institute of state, law and democracy of Turkmenistan, the participants discussed the expansion of long-term cooperation aimed at consolidating efforts to ensure well-being and sustainable development.
Interaction in the political, economic, environmental and human dimensions was discussed.
Noting the fruitful nature of the long-term partnership between Turkmenistan and the OSCE, the participants of the meeting expressed their readiness to implement new joint projects of national and international significance.
The parties also considered interaction in view of the pandemic situation in the world, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
