Today, a video conference was held on the topic "Russia-Turkmenistan: industry and construction-new opportunities for cooperation", the website of the UIET reports.
The meeting was prepared by the chambers of Commerce and industry of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, which took an active part in the event.
The Turkmen side was represented by the CCI, the industrial Department of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs, heads and representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
On the Russian side, Vladimir Padalko, Vice-President of the CCI of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Kamensky, Deputy Chairman of the CCI Committee on entrepreneurship in the construction sector, Chairman of the Subcommittee on industrial housing, “Agropromalyans”, and Vice-presidents of the Lipetsk and St. Petersburg CCI participated.
During the event, the opportunities of Turkmen industrial and construction industries were presented. Thus, the Ministry of industry and construction of Turkmenistan held a presentation on the prospects for exporting glass products, non-metallic materials, polymer products, including aerated concrete.
The video clip of JSC "Turkmenpipe" showed the possibility of supplying pipes for domestic drinking water supply, sewage systems, and drip irrigation. The production needs for purchasing a number of necessary materials were also announced.
The export potential of Turkmen entrepreneurs for the supply of construction products such as isogam, drywall, pipes and others was presented.
Representatives of the Russian business community were interested in proposals for the supply of Turkmen construction materials. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to work out all organizational and technical issues, especially the details of transportation.
