The state of Affairs in the domestic agro-industrial complex, current issues of socio-economic development of the country, preparations for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality were discussed at a workshop held today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov via digital video link with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, the Minister of internal Affairs, as well as the hyakims of velayats and the capital.
The first to report by direct video link was the mayor of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov, who reported on the ongoing work in the capital, the organization of events planned for June, including those dedicated to the world Bicycle day.
The head of state was informed about the progress of construction of facilities planned for commissioning by the anniversary of neutrality, the work to maintain cleanliness in the main city of the country and its improvement, as well as the preparation of cultural and entertainment centers for the summer season.
After hearing the report, the President focused on ensuring a high level of all events held in the capital on the occasion of significant dates, and ordered to ensure control over the construction of facilities.
The head of state instructed hyakim to take appropriate comprehensive measures in connection with the onset of summer heat, to create all conditions for useful and meaningful pastime of Turkmen citizens in urban recreation centers. At the same time, you must strictly observe the fire safety rules.
Then the Governor of the Akhal velayat Ya. Gurbanov reported on the ongoing agricultural work in the region, the development of social infrastructure, and the construction of new facilities.
Summing up the report, the President ordered to take all measures for the organized start of grain harvest in the velayat, to maximize the use of technical resources, combine harvesters and vehicles, to ensure the smooth functioning of reception points.
At the same time, the issues of cotton care, increasing the production of potatoes and vegetable crops should be in the field of view of the hyakim, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted.
Attention was also focused on strict compliance with fire safety rules in the velayat and ensuring a high level of preparation for the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted the importance of preparatory work for the organized grain harvesting campaign, in a timely manner and at the proper quality level.
At the same time, it is necessary not to reduce attention to the care of cotton, rational and effective use of equipment and agricultural equipment, the work of the plant protection service, which is fighting harmful insects.
It is necessary to solve the issues of increasing the volume of production of potatoes and vegetables in the region, as well as timely sowing of sugar beets. It is also important to monitor the construction of facilities in the velayat.

During the workshop on digital video communication, hyakim of Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov reported on the state of work being carried out in the region.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan instructed hyakim to work on the agricultural lands of the velayat using the recommendations of agricultural scientists. The Deputy Prime Minister reported on the work carried out in the agricultural sector of the country. As noted, these days in all regions of the country, agro technical works are being carried out, including on pest control of agricultural plants. Along with this, great importance is attached to the preparation for harvesting grain. Steps are being taken to ensure the maximum productivity of agricultural machinery used in the sowing season and wheat collection points.
After hearing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of establishing proper care for cotton and noted that the control of plant pests should be carried out on the basis of a scientifically based method.
Then, on workshop on digital video, the President summoned the Minister of internal Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Chakyeva, who reported on a Program to ensure fire safety in the country, including agricultural land. As noted, within the framework of the Program during sowing, regular duty of employees of the fire safety service will be established, as well as extensive awareness-raising among the population.
After hearing the report, the head of state emphasized that currently ensuring fire safety is a very important task. In this regard, along with information and educational work, it is necessary to prepare an appropriate plan, clearly indicate the route of vehicles from wheat fields to grain receiving points.
