In the very near future, Turkmenistan and Iran will take the necessary measures to ensure a high level of sanitary, phytosanitary control and veterinary supervision in order to ensure the safe movement of transport and cargo across the Turkmen-Iranian border from an epidemiological point of view.
This issue was discussed today during a telephone conversation between the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif, the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. They stressed the need to implement as soon as possible the agreements reached between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Iran Hassan Rouhani during the previous day's telephone conversation.
