Today, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan, Mr. Diego Ruiz Alonzo.
The sides noted the positive development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU in recent years. The current state and prospects for the development of multi-stakeholder partnerships in the framework of priority projects and strategies were reviewed.
There was an exchange of views on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan to ensure stable and reliable international transport in emergency situations, as well as on the development of relations in the field of energy and humanitarian ties.
The goals and objectives of the updated EU Strategy for Central Asia were also discussed, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
