As we reported earlier, tests of exploration well №1 at the “Uzynada” field in January gave a positive result.
Now, according to the oil and Gas complex of Turkmenistan, an industrial inflow of natural gas has been obtained from the search well No. 8 at a depth of 7000 meters. This successful work was performed by the expedition of the Corporation "Turkmengeology".
Thanks to the use of modern drilling rigs and equipment, it has become possible not only to obtain a larger volume of gas, but also to gain valuable experience in carrying out large-scale operations.
It is expected that large-scale work on the development of deposits of the “Uzynada” field will allow realizing the significant potential of the domestic oil and gas complex. Exploration and development of this field will provide an additional increase in oil and gas condensate production.
The Memorandum of understanding signed last year between the state concern “Turkmennebit” and the international group of companies ARETI provides for partnership in the development of this field and opens up new prospects.
Exploration activities carried out in “Uzynada” at the present stage are aimed at efficient use of the resource base of the field, as well as at identifying new sources of underground wealth.
