The Turkmen capital is preparing to host the XXV Multidisciplinary International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat 2026” (WCA 2026), which will be held on May 24–25 in honor of City Day.
This year's forum will be held under the motto "Architecture. Innovation. Sustainable Development," which reflects the strategic priorities for the development of modern cities—a harmonious combination of architectural excellence, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the implementation of environmentally oriented approaches to creating a sustainable urban environment, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
The forum is expected to attract a broad geographic range of participants, expanding opportunities for professional dialogue, exchange of experiences, and establishment of new business contacts.
One of the key areas of discussion at the upcoming international conference will be the implementation of the Ashgabat Development Strategy until 2045, which envisions the further improvement of the capital as a modern administrative, economic, and cultural center, the introduction of innovative urban development solutions, the expansion of urban infrastructure, and increased environmental sustainability of the urban environment.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of the "smart city" concept, the modernization of transport and utilities infrastructure, the implementation of digital urban management systems, and the creation of energy-efficient buildings.
A number of contracts and memoranda of cooperation are expected to be signed on the sidelines of the conference, as well as the presentation of promising projects.
