Representatives from Turkmenistan participated in the Creative Central Asia 2026 forum, which took place from February 28 to March 2 in Tashkent.
The forum, which brought together experts from Central Asian countries and the United Kingdom, aimed to develop creative industries as a strategic tool for urban growth and strengthening human capital, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
Turkmenistan was represented by a delegation of young professionals actively involved in developing the country's technological and creative scene. The delegation included Vasily Andronov, founder of the children's science theater Jam Creative, who is also a winner of the twelfth cohort of the StartUp Academy business incubation program, organized in partnership with the International Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
As V. Andronov noted, participation in the forum allowed for a detailed study of the experiences of neighboring states and confirmed that Turkmenistan is now a full-fledged and proactive participant in regional processes.
The Creative Central Asia initiative, launched by the British Council in 2017, helps build bridges between representatives of the region's creative industries and international experts, facilitating the integration of Turkmen specialists into the global creative community, the source notes.
