Turkmen mixed martial artist Dovletjan Yagshimuradov (25-8-1) will face Australian Tyson Pedro (10-5) on April 16 at a PFL event in Belfast. The bout will take place in the welterweight division.

In the league's current rankings, Yagshimuradov is ranked second, while Pedro is ranked eighth. The upcoming fight will be the Australian fighter's PFL debut. Two years ago, Pedro announced his retirement from MMA, leaving the UFC after a defeat.

The current PFL welterweight champion is American Corey Anderson (20-6, 1 NC). In October 2025, Anderson defeated Yagshimuradov by decision in their title fight at a PFL event in Dubai.

Yagshimuradov has held the ACB and ACA titles over the years, and in 2024, he won the PFL Light Heavyweight Grand Prix.
