Turkish actor İbrahim Yıldız, known to a wide audience for his role in the series "Magnificent Century: The Empire of Kosem," has died in Istanbul. He was 27. The Habertürk television channel confirmed his death.

The tragedy occurred in mid-August 2025: a tree fell on Yıldız during a hurricane. The actor suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit, where he spent several months undergoing multiple surgeries. According to his sister, Ela Altınkay, he remained unconscious during this time. In early February, it was announced that he was being prepared for further surgery. He died in the hospital.

The actor's sister supported him throughout his recovery and shared her concerns on social media, expressing hope for her brother's recovery.
