At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on February 27, Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on ongoing preparations for celebrations dedicated to International Women's Day.
As reported, a number of events will be held in the provinces and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag to mark the upcoming holiday.
Thus, the Centre for Public Organizations will host a song and music gala conference and exhibition entitled “Ene hüwdüsi – iň kämil eser”, the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre will host a conference and exhibition entitled “Ogulabat ejäniň el hünäri türkmen zenanlarynyň görelde mekdebidir”, and the Museum of Fine Arts will host an exhibition entitled “Şekillendiriş sungatynda zenan waspy”.
In addition, the results of the competition announced in honor of International Women's Day are planned to be announced.
At the same time, performances and screenings of Turkmen films are planned. Concerts will also be organized.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the head of state for consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of organizing events in the regions and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag to mark International Women's Day, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the festive concert featuring cultural figures and artists and ensure its high level, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
