Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom signed four agreements on cooperation in the field of education

A signing ceremony for four memoranda of understanding between Turkmen educational institutions and British organizations took place in London. The documents cover several areas: skills certification, educational assessment, teaching methods, and personnel training.

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has signed agreements with the international publishing and examination holding company Pearson to implement internationally recognized qualifications and digital assessment formats, and with AQA Global Assessment Services to improve the school assessment system and increase the transparency of measuring academic results.

Furthermore, the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan signed a memorandum with the Norwich Institute of Language Education (NILE), which provides for advanced training for teachers and the development of continuous professional development programs. The Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages agreed to cooperate with Nottingham Trent University on academic exchanges and joint educational programs.

Following the signing, Turkmenistan's Deputy Minister of Education A. Atayev held talks with representatives of all four British organizations. Following the talks, it is planned to establish joint working groups and develop specific roadmaps for implementing the agreements.
