The State Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan has published a weather forecast for the current week for all regions of the country.

Ashgabat is expected to see partly cloudy skies, with showers and snow expected early and in the second half of the week. Winds will be southwesterly, shifting to northwesterly, at 10-13 to 14-16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from -1 to +1 to +6 to +8°C, and daytime temperatures will range from +5 to +7 to +16 to +18°C.

In the Balkan velayat, partly cloudy skies with showers and snow are expected. Southeasterly winds, shifting to northwesterly, will blow at 8–13 to 12–17 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from -2 to +3 to +4 to +9°C, with daytime highs of +12 to +17°C and coastal highs of +6 to +11°C.

In the Ahal velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with showers and snow expected early and in the second half of the week. Winds will be 7–12 to 12–17 m/s, southwesterly, turning northwesterly. Nighttime temperatures will range from -2°C to +3°C to +4°C to +9°C, and daytime temperatures will range from +5°C to +10°C to +19°C to +24°C.

In the Mary velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with rain expected in the middle and end of the week. Southeasterly winds veering northwesterly at 8-13 to 11-16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from -1 to +4 to +5 to +10°C, and daytime temperatures will range from +5 to +10 to +18 to +23°C.

In the Lebap velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with rain and snow expected at the beginning and second half of the week. Easterly winds veering northwesterly at 7-12 to 11-16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from -4 to +1 to +5 to +10°C, and daytime temperatures will range from +4 to +9 to +21 to +26°C.

In the Dashoguz velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with showers and snow expected. Northeasterly winds will blow at 7-12 to 10-15 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from -8 to -3°C to 0 to +5°C, and daytime temperatures will range from -1 to +4°C to +1 to +6°C.

The coldest weather this week is forecast for the north of the country, in the Dashoguz velayat, where overnight temperatures could drop to -8°C. The warmest weather is expected in the southeast: in the Lebap velayat, daytime temperatures could reach +26°C.
