The areas of study for Turkmen youth at Romanian universities in the new academic year have been determined

At a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on February 20, Deputy Prime Minister B. Mammedov reported on the issue of sending young people to study at higher education institutions in Romania for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Noting the advisability of sending young Turkmen citizens to Romanian universities in areas such as information technology, healthcare and medical sciences, education and pedagogical sciences, agriculture and agricultural sciences, engineering, technology and technical sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state's consideration.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country is creating ample opportunities for younger generations to gain knowledge at prestigious foreign higher education institutions. This helps ensure that the national economy is supplied with highly qualified specialists.

Having approved the proposal to send young people to study at Romanian universities, the head of state addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with corresponding instructions, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
