Colvir held the first hybrid conference on banking technologies in Turkmenistan

Colvir Software Solutions, an international developer of banking IT solutions with 25 years of experience, held the first online conference, Colvir Live: Banking Technologies, in Turkmenistan. The event was held in a hybrid format: participants connected to the live stream from their offices and remotely, and for those who wished to attend in person, an offline venue was organized at the Regus coworking center in Ashgabat.

The event focused on the development of banking technologies and practical updates to the Colvir product line, which will become available for implementation in Turkmenistan's banks in 2026. The business program focused on the development of remote services, improving the performance and resilience of the banking system's core, as well as information security and account management.

During the broadcast, Colvir experts presented:

  • an overview of current trends and challenges in mobile banking;

  • the development of remote banking channels and the capabilities of a mobile app for individuals based on a no-code platform;

  • user data protection solutions using Colvir Security Server 3.1;

  • a demonstration of the Smart Data Hub;

  • key improvements to the Colvir core banking system aimed at increasing the system's stability, security, and scalability.

The organizers emphasized interactivity: participants participated in polls, took a quiz, and provided feedback in surveys. This format allowed them not only to present updates but also to gather practical requests from banks and their clients and identify priorities for developing digital channels in Turkmenistan for future events.

Within the framework of the conference, Colvir also announced the in-person training course, Colvir Camp, in Ashgabat, which will run from March 30 to April 3, 2026. The topic of the intensive course is "Clients and Accounts. Cash Management Operations." The program combines theoretical modules and practical training and is part of Colvir's global initiative to develop the competencies of banking professionals in Turkmenistan.

A separate segment of the event included a summary of the company's webinar activity in 2025. Colvir regularly organizes online meetings, and in 2024, it launched a special webinar series at the request of Turkmen banks. Within the framework of the Colvir Webinar Activity program, participants in 2025 were awarded Colvir coins for their activity, including participating in webinars, quizzes, and surveys. Turkmen specialists demonstrated record results among all countries where the company operates, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Georgia.

The conference was Colvir's first hybrid event, combining an online broadcast with an offline venue in Ashgabat. This approach ensured easy connection and consistent participation, regardless of technical conditions. Following the event, representatives of Turkmen banks praised the program and format, noting that online participation saves time, simplifies the connection of teams from different departments, and makes professional dialogue with experts more accessible.
