Turkmen “Arkadag” suffered a narrow defeat to Makhachkala “Dynamo” in a friendly match during a training camp in Türkiye.

The match in Belek ended 1-0 in favor of the Russian club. “Dynamo” forward Gamid Agalarov scored the only goal in the 87th minute from the penalty spot after “Arkadag” defender Mekan Saparov fouled him in his own penalty area. The Turkmenistan champions had several dangerous moments during the match, but the Makhachkala goalkeeper saved them all.

As a reminder, Turkmen specialist Kurban Berdyev coached “Dynamo” from July 2023 to February 2024.

Earlier, during training camp in Türkiye, “Arkadag” played two friendly matches against Kosovar clubs: they won 2-0 against “Feronikeli” and lost 0-1 to “Dukagjini”.

“Arkadag” is holding a training camp in Türkiye from January 12 to February 2. The team is preparing for the AFC Champions League II playoff match against Saudi Arabia's “Al-Nassr”.
