The “Nebitdagnebit” oil and gas department in the Balkan velayat achieved high economic performance in 2025. Its oil production exceeded 668 654 tons, according to the Turkmenistan newspaper.

As reported, the volume of oil produced above plan amounted to approximately 43,664 tons. The department's oil workers fulfilled the annual plan by 106.99 percent.

In the first month of 2026, the “Nebitdagnebit” department, together with international partners and service companies of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern, continues large-scale work on the industrial development of underground productive formations.
