A major traffic accident involving more than 100 vehicles occurred on a Michigan highway. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office reported the incident on social media.

According to RIA Novosti, law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Preliminary findings indicate that between 30 and 40 heavy-duty trucks were involved.

Multiple people were injured in the accident. No fatalities were reported at the time of publication.

The massive collision was caused by adverse weather conditions—snowfall in the region. Video footage from the scene shows a snow-covered road where various types of vehicles, from cars to trucks, collided. Snowfall continued at the time of the accident.
