A training course entitled "Specialized Logistics 2025" was held for representatives of Turkmenistan's transport industry from November 25 to 27.
The training was conducted by the Turkmen Logistics Association with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) within the framework of the "Trade Facilitation in Central Asian Countries" project.
As reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age," during the training, participants learned international standards for handling hazardous and special cargo. Emphasis was placed on ensuring safety during loading, unloading, and transportation, as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements and regulations.
Trainers provided specific examples from their own work, allowing participants to better understand the specifics of handling hazardous cargo, such as large quantities of perfume or frozen foods in dry ice – tasks that require a high degree of responsibility and precise decision-making.
Participants also learned about best practices of Turkmen freight carriers aimed at minimizing risks and improving the efficiency of handling cargo requiring special handling.
Upon completion of the training, participants received certificates confirming their advanced training and expanded competencies in specialized logistics, the source noted.
