During a working visit to the Balkan velayat, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the building on the Caspian Sea coast where the branch of the Charitable Foundation will be located, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the working conditions created for the foundation's specialists. He instructed the foundation's vice presidents, O. Atabayeva and R. Bazarov, to hold a high-level opening ceremony for the branch ahead of the international conference "The Role of Women in Modern Society," which will take place on December 10 at the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People noted that the opening of the branch will complement the list of significant events of the International Year of Peace and Trust and will allow the foundation to expand its multifaceted activities in promoting humanistic principles.

The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation provides assistance to children in need of medical treatment. Over the years, the foundation has restored the health of many children who received treatment at its expense.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also instructed that attention be paid to the improvement of the surrounding area and the creation of green spaces around the branch building.
