The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) opened a representative office in Ashgabat. The opening ceremony took place at the “Arkach” business center.
"The United Arab Emirates and Turkmenistan share a relationship based on trust, respect, and a shared vision of energy security and sustainable growth. Today's office opening is more than just a corporate move. It symbolizes our long-term commitment to being a reliable partner to Turkmenistan," said Bassem Tadros, Director of Asset Management at XRG (an ADNOC subsidiary), at the ceremony.
He noted that Turkmenistan possesses world-class natural gas reserves and a strategically advantageous geographic location between East and West. According to him, the country's potential for ensuring regional energy security, diversifying export routes, and strengthening its role in the global gas market continues to grow.
Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern, called the opening of the ADNOC representative office a significant event and an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation. He expressed confidence that through joint efforts, all set goals for field development, high-quality production, and personnel training will be achieved.
