Three hundred young enthusiasts from across Turkmenistan took part in a robotics competition held at the Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The competition took place over two days in seven categories: "Robot Sumo" (robot wrestling), "Robot Cars," "Labyrinth," "Line Follower," "Line Follower Mission," "Robot Ship Racing," and "Mission Robot," according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
Following the competition, the jury announced the winners:
In the "Sumo Robot" category: Alihan Akgayev, a student at the Joint Turkmen-Russian Comprehensive school named after A.S. Pushkin and a member of the robotics club at Ashgabat specialized secondary school No. 13 with advanced foreign language studies;
In the "Robot Cars" category: Resul Kanalov, a student at Balkanabat secondary school No. 17 and a student at the "Kämil Bilim" training center;
In the "Labyrinth" category: Davut Bashimov, a student at Ashgabat secondary school No. 129;
In the "Line Follower" category, Malik Annamyradov, a student at the 1st Specialized Military School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan;
In the "Line Follower Mission" category, Adylsha Mammettuvakov, a student at the 1st Specialized Military School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan;
In the "Robot-Ship Racing" category, Myrat Kakayev, a student at the 96th secondary school of Ashgabat;
In the “Mission robot” nomination, a team of students from the International University of Humanities and Development, students of the “Kämil bilim” educational center: Pirguly Ovezov, Nurahmet Kulov and Rovshen Hojageldyev.
The winners were ceremoniously presented with valuable prizes and certificates of honor. The best team received a special prize—a 3D printer—from the “Ýüpekçi” economic society.
